Wow! I cannot believe that I haven't blogged in almost 9 months! SO many things have happened in that amount of time I don't know where to begin.
I definitley started a blog at the wrong time, being in school full time out of town and only having three days a week with my sweet family and friends made it hard to sqeeze in any blogging time!~ Let's see, maybe a list will suffice for the things that have happened in those few months! :-)
1. Paul & I tied the knot, May 27th 2011. I know, finally right?! We were engaged for 16 months & were both beyond ready, it was a small fun wedding with close family & I wouldn't have had it any other way. We are so blessed!
2. June 4th 2011 our sweet little guy turned ONE!! Oh my goodness, It's amazing how fast time flew, he had WAY too many presents and was the messiest, cutest cake smasher in the whole world. He got quite a few big things; his first sandbox, first swingset, first car to ride on. Plus a million other gifts & he sure loved them all.
3. July 28th I finished school, which means I finished within 11 months. I have never been so proud of myself, I really busted my butt to finish (First in my class, YAY) & made honors, not that honors is hard to achieve in cosmo. hehe but had to have a little brag session. Anyways, I passed both my stateboard tests & will hopefully be working in the next couple of weeks, (still waiting on my license to come in the mail.) I'll be working at Shear Ellagance downtown. I am SO excited & just can't wait! I couldn't have done it without the love and support from all those who helped us & encourged me. We can't thank you enough. Not too mention, it was a blessing to meet a couple of the people I did at school, Vanessa and Wesley are the most down to earth people, & although we all live in different towns I hope to stay in touch with both of them, God knows I couldn't have lasted a day up there without seeing their faces to help the days go by! Although Christian was certainly my main source of motivation, he's a great little helper!
4. August 1st, we left for our Honeymoon to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, WOW~ talk about beautiful. It was so green and water everywhere, big change from west tex. We stayed an awesome 6 days, had an all inclusisve deal (we kept the bloody mary's and pina coladas a comin'!) The food was the bomb & some of the beaches we visited were indescribingly beautiful. Now of course all the while, our baby was still here in Snyder, my mom & Pauls sister kept him for us, as much fun as we had there wasn't a moment that went by when I didn't think of his sweet little face, it was definitley one of the hardest things to do, we havent been away from him longer than a weekend (a short weekend) To make things even more fun Pauls parents came with us, we were so happy they were able to share it with us, they deserved it! There are so many more details, maybe I'll fill you in more through a seperate blog ;-)
5. Did I mention Christian is a WALKER!!! Eeeeeekkk!! I know. It has been the funnest thing ever, he looks just like a little man walking around the house. He really started taking off a week or so after we got home (thank goodness he waited) I was so worried we would miss it! He's just the greatest.
[6. Nothing too special but I finally found my perfect hobby, scrapbooking! Who knew? I'm addicted. Also latley I've been on this "re-creation craze" I keep buying things to re paint, re-decorate, & just totally redo, I've gotten a little ahead of myself in that department, but hopefully I'll get around to each thing at some point in time!
Well that's a shorter list than planned, but hey, at least it's detailed right? I'll have another blog just on Christians updates next.
Meanwhile, here are some pictures from the fun times you just read all about!

Six Months of Crazy Mama
Sometimes I think people may see me as overboard with Christian, I am SO over-protective and in love with my little boy, and he's only half a year old...makes me wonder how insane I will be when he's old enough to date, drive, etc. (Yikes!)
I'm currently attending the Cosmetology program at Howard College, so many of my classmates have babies, children, & a family...but none of them seem to be as close or consumed as I am.
I've had people tell me, they love their kid(s) but they've never seen someone express it like me. Girls at school make fun of me for acting motherly towards them, it cracks me up.
If anyone, even Paul saw some of the things I do to entertain him when it's just Christian and I, they would think I was a nutcase, I dance, I sing, I run back and fourth playing peek-a-boo, I clap and make crazy noises.
Ever since I was a little girl I've felt like I was made to be a mom, I told Paul this the other day & he says well you were, (he's talking God) but I'm talking more than that.
I know God made all women to mother a child but I think I've just always had that certain something inside me that makes a mom, whatever that may be.
When he's older he's going to give me a kiss before he gets out of the car to go to school...or anywhere else.
He's going to check in every hour.
I will have all his friends phone numbers, along with their parents numbers.
Even if he's 17 years old, he will still have to wear antlers or a Santa hat in our Christmas pictures.
(Maybe this is some wishful thinking, but I like to believe all this will happen)
:o)
Our baby is six months old now, half a year of amazing, life changing, sweet moments that I will cherish forever.
I'm proud to be a crazy mama,
Christian will thank me someday, maybe. :)

Unconditional love
November Second will be exactly a year from the day I recieved the most wonderful news; I was going to be a Mommy!
SO many mixed emotions & thoughts running through my mind that very second, I will never forget. I was so terrified & yet so excited.
Although to be 100 percent truthful, I never thought becoming a mother would be THIS amazing.
Some days I feel like Super Woman, running around like crazy, multitasking, cleaning, feeding, waking up in the middle of the night, changing diapers, attempting to make time for everything else & then some.
There is not one second that Christian isn't running through my mind!...& I wouldn't change a thing!
"Patience is a virtue" As they say. You can ask ANYONE that knows me, they will tell you I'm the most impatient person they've ever known, but when it comes to him...time stops, the world stops. He comes first in every decision I make.
He has made me a better person, if I could go back in time 3 years I would slap the old Justene in the face.
I was so ignorant, ungrateful & selfish...such ugly words, but so very true.
I now count my blessings each and everyday & thank God for everything he has generously given to me.
I have learned to love & appreciate in a whole new way like never before & to be thankful for the little things...even if it's the smallest thing in the world.
Unconditional love.
Those are the only words able to slightly describe Christian to me...
Thank you baby for all you have done; & you don't even know it!

Best Friends
I love my best friend Rachael with all my heart, she's so crazy, we don't get to see eachother often...she's living and going to school in Denton. So when we do get to see eachother it's SO nice! Her mom is a fabulous photographer and wanted to get some pictures of us, just thought I would post a few, she does such a good job,
She's doing our family pictires next weekend, looking forward to that!
All because two people fell in love
Paul,
This post is all for you.
If only I could come up with the right words to describe the depth of this beautiful feeling I have for you. All I can do is show you.
You have changed my life through and through with the love you have for me, it has made me a better and stronger person.
you push me to accomplish my goals and you are always there when I am down, you know exactly how to make me smile when I need it most.
Since day one we have shared something special, something most people only dream of.
I had been searching for you my whole life & now
you have made me the happiest I have ever been.
We are so blessed that God helped us find one another.
We made the most incredible thing in the world together, a handsome little boy, Christian, who is the best of both us.
I wanted to write this to say thank you for all you have done, are doing, and will do.
You are a wonderful man, you are my world, and my everything.
I love you more than the sun, the moon, the stars, the sky, & the whole universe.
Sweetheart, forever with you is going to be the greatest journey I could ever fathom. I cherish each and every moment of our lives together!
Love always,
Me
Christian's Letter
Christian, we love you SO much. We are so very blessed to have you in our lives. Your smile could brighten anyones day! I can't believe how fast you are growing up, time just fly's by.
You have already began to teeth and it just breaks my heart, I wish I could just make the pain all go away!
Baby, you have already made me the proudest mommy there ever was and that anyone could ever imagine.
You love to watch cartoons and sit in your "big boy" chair. You absolutley love taking baths. You are such a little chatter box, you get that from your mama, once we start it's hard to stop :-)
I ALWAYS know when something is wrong, that is the ONLY time you are ever fussy any other time you are just as happy as can be.
You do hate being changed when you haven't had your "bah bah'', no matter how full your little diaper is we HAVE to feed you a little bit before we change you, what a little piggy you are! And I would have it NO other way.
Your personality is fabulous, and only getting better the bigger you get.
You look exactly like your daddy, which I absolutley adore, I have my "Big Paul" and my "Small Paul" How great is that!?
I thank God for bringing you and your daddy into my world each and every day.
You have forever changed me, & are just unbelievably perfect.
I want to be the perfect mommy for you...forever!
